I'll leave you with this absolutely hilarious creature we also came across in the traps.  Definitely one of my favourites (although it isn't technically even a moth).

Mothing on Campus (27th February)

Continuous rain and poor weather has led to the cancellation of multiple mothing events but we (Eco Soc) eventually decided enough was enough and we set up the traps despite rain predicted for the night ahead.

The first moth we saw pulled out of the trap was this slightly worn Dark Chestnut.

None the less, we did catch 2 March Moths.
